These are the questions that reach us before onboarding, with the short answer. Each has an article behind it if you want the detail.
On commitment
Is there exclusivity? No. Your aircraft stays available to your direct clients and to other brokers.
Do I have to block calendar? No. You answer request by request.
Can I decline without penalty? Yes, and a refusal does not affect the requests you get afterwards.
Is there a minimum term? No. You can stop appearing whenever you want.
On money
What do you charge? The operator is paid the full flight at their usual rate: our intermediation is not deducted from what they charge.
Who sets the price? You do. We pass on the request, not a fare to match. We show a "from" price per route; the final fare depends on the date, the group and the baggage, and is confirmed in writing before booking.
Do you withhold payments? Not as leverage. If that ever happens to you with an intermediary, it is reason enough to leave.
Is there a cost to sign up? We tell you what applies at onboarding, in writing, before you send anything.
On operations
Who decides whether the flight goes? You. Always.
Do you operate aircraft? No. We work with certificated operators and aircraft available in Central America; outside the region we coordinate on request.
Do you audit me? No. We verify current documentation; auditing is your authority's job.
Do you ask for flight data? No. What we need to quote fits on a sheet.
On what arrives
What does a request carry? Origin, destination, date, passengers and baggage, settled.
How many will I get? They are not steady. Weeks with several and weeks with none.
Do you order by seniority or commission? Neither. It goes to whoever can do the flight.
Do I negotiate with the passenger? No. You answer availability and price.
On the awkward cases
What if I cancel on weather? The passenger did not pay for a flight that did not happen, and we have that conversation.
What if the passenger fails to show? Whatever you agreed applies. A reserved aircraft and a called-out crew are real cost.
What if they cut the group from eight to four? The aircraft and the cost are the same. Your quote should say so.
What if there is a complaint? We handle it. We do not pass you to the passenger.
On whether it fits you
Is it worth it if I am new? It can be, but it will not be your main channel in year one.
What if I have one aircraft? Yes, if it goes where others do not. Drake Bay is 83.5 nautical miles from San José and Tamarindo 97.1: what each field takes decides more than the size of your fleet.
What if I am an owner without a certificate? We cannot send you requests. The route is leasing to a certified operator.
What documentation do you ask for? Certificate, policy and a sheet per aircraft. Operators we bring on evidence current certification, insurance and fleet documentation before receiving a first assignment.
How long does onboarding take? That depends on you, not on us: with complete and current documentation it is a matter of days.
About us
How many operators do you have? We tell you the real number when asked. An intermediary who hides it usually has fewer than they imply.
Can I speak to another operator who works with you? Yes, if that operator agrees. It is the question we most recommend asking — of our competitors too.
What if you grow a lot? What will not change is the allocation: it will keep going to whoever can do the flight. If that ever changed, we would say so here.
The one asked most
"Does this replace having my own site?" No, and we recommend building one. Over three years it is your most profitable channel, and we do not replace it.

Who sets the price?
You do. We pass on the request, not a fare you have to match.
How do you order when several can do it?
Neither by seniority nor commission. It goes to whoever can do the flight.
